baccalaureate. Studies in the preparatory cycle for<strong>ESIP<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0focus on scientific and technical courses lasting two years. There are two streams:\u00a0<strong>Mathematics and Physics (MP), Physics and Chemistry (PC).<\/strong><\/p><p>This is a two-year national curriculum course spanning four semesters. During this training, a pedagogy is practiced aimed at developing in the student the analytical skills required for studies in the engineering high-tech achievements. In addition to the scientific and general program, there is a strong experimental approach. Passage conditions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The class council meets at the end of each term to assess student performance on a case-by-case basis. It decides on the basis of the annual average and the abilities of the student during the year to move from the first year to the second year of the preparatory cycle.<\/p>\n<p>He is also free to assign a zero mark to any absence from a continuous assessment or quarterly exam.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Disciplinary provisions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>By virtue of decree n \u00b0 2002 -1838 of August 12, 2002, fixing the system of studies and exams in preparatory cycles for engineering studies, attendance at all courses is compulsory.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, students must follow their studies in the classes in which they are registered in accordance with the nominal lists. Students are expected to stick to their schedule and ensure they are on time for all sessions. Not all late students will be accepted into class.<\/p>\n<p>It is also brought to the attention of the students that any unjustified absence is sanctioned by a warning and that three warnings result in the appearance of the person concerned before the disciplinary board of the school.<\/p>\n<p>However, any student who has been the subject of improper behavior or any breach of academic obligations loses the benefit of a possible buyout by the class council during the deliberations of the end-of-year results.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Validation of candidacy for national competitions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The participation of second year MP, PC and TECHNO students in national entrance exams to engineering training cycles is not automatic. Only students who meet scientific level conditions and study attendance are allowed to register for these competitions.
